Sample Projects

1)     Academy of Hope awarded $7.5 million to start a Charter School in the District of Columbia that was facilitated by TLG.


2)    TLG facilitated the awarding of several federal grants for the Reentry Movement that includes: National Urban League, Serenity, Veterans on the Rise and Collaborative Solutions for Communities. More than $2.5 million in awards. 


3)    MBI Health Services was awarded $650,000 to provide emergency assistance to individuals and families experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of becoming homeless by the D.C. Department of Human Services. TLG facilitated the writing and submission of the proposal. More than 600 families have been diverted from homelessness.

4)    The Howard University Hospital Urban Health Initiative was awarded $500,000 to fund the Innovations in Ambulatory care program by the DC Department of Health. TLG facilitated the writing and submission of the proposal.
